* Expert-level Python and SQL skills
 * Strong experience with data science, machine learning, statistical modelling, and predictive analytics
 * Deep understanding of model selection, validation, and performance evaluation
 * Experience designing and implementing solutions for complex, ambiguous business challenges
 * Knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI workflows, prompt engineering, and model evaluation techniques
 * Familiarity with experimentation methodologies and data-driven decision making
 * Experience with software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation
 * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
 * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Ability to translate business questions into actionable analytical projects

## Description

* Lead data science projects from problem definition through deployment and handover
 * Analyse product and operational performance to identify opportunities and recommend improvements
 * Design, build, validate, and optimise forecasting, capacity planning, and predictive models
 * Define and track success metrics to measure model effectiveness and business impact
 * Collaborate with Engineering teams on deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models
 * Break complex initiatives into achievable milestones and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies
 * Produce high-quality, well-documented, and repeatable analytical solutions
 * Identify and resolve technical debt, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
 * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs
