## About the Role

* Strong background in C++ with experience developing high-performance backend applications
 * Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale distributed systems and microservices
 * Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
 * Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI or similar), and related frameworks
 * Deep understanding of scalable, reliable, and secure system design
 * Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
 * Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, influence architecture decisions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL tuning, and data access patterns
 * Experience with modern software development lifecycle practices and Agile methodologies

Nice to Have Skills

 * Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
 * Familiarity with Kafka, MSK, EventBridge, Redis, Valkey, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
 * Knowledge of C#/.NET applications and services
 * Background in financial services, regulated environments, or data-heavy industries
 * Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
 * Hands-on experience with event streaming, caching, and NoSQL databases
 * Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and enterprise AI governance
 * Background in data engineering, analytics ecosystems, or data lake architectures

Preferred Education and Experience

 * Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
 * 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3 5 years leading technical teams
