* Strong commercial experience developing applications with Kotlin.
 * Excellent knowledge of Java and the wider JVM ecosystem.
 * Experience building backend solutions using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
 * Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API development.
 * Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
 * Exposure to containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
 * Strong understanding of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery.
 * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 * Knowledge of frontend technologies such as TypeScript or Node.js.
 * Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes.

## Description

* Build and deliver enterprise-scale applications using Kotlin and modern JVM technologies.
 * Help shape technical solutions, architecture decisions and engineering standards across projects.
 * Develop scalable microservices and APIs that support critical digital services.
 * Work within multidisciplinary agile teams alongside Product Managers, Designers, Analysts and Engineers.
 * Drive engineering best practice across testing, automation, deployment and software quality.
 * Contribute to cloud-native solutions deployed across modern public cloud environments.
 * Support and mentor other developers, helping to grow technical capability within the wider team.
 * Play a key role in delivering user-focused software that balances performance, security and maintainability.
