Join an analytics team within the Property & Casualty Claims department that helps bring data to life through visualizations and analysis. In this role, you'll partner directly with Claims leaders to understand business needs and deliver analytics, dashboards, and data solutions that influence operational decisions and strategic initiatives. Ideal candidates are eager to learn Looker, SQL, insurance analytics, and enterprise data processes in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking someone with a curiosity and desire to learn traditional analytics and explore AI enabled analytics. This position enjoys a flexible, hybrid work schedule of 2 days per week in our Chicago, IL office., * Knowledge of financial, economic, and/or statistical practices, procedures and principles, which may include a specialty area of the business * Developing technical expertise and product knowledge. * Good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve simple to moderately complex situations and issues. Demonstrates attention to detail. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of CNA's internal and external business partners. * Collaborates with all levels of team members to explain potentially complex information. * Good time management and strong organizations skills with the ability to prioritize and complete work and/or projects effectively. * Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions effectively * Ability to adapt to change and value diverse opinions and ideas. * Has a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software., * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related field. * Typically up to two years of related work experience. * Experience with SQL, Looker and/or data visualization tools, a plus. #LI-KP1 ## Description Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines: * Performs basic modeling for the purpose of quantifying the performance of the business area and evaluating operational changes.
