Documented ability to prepare written scientific reports and deliver oral presentations. * Initial physical exam and/or periodic medical monitoring, including drug screening, may be required for sea-going roles. * Ability to lift/carry at least 40lbs and work outdoors for extended periods. * Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout the duration of employment., * Experience collecting catch and effort information from commercial fishermen * Knowledge of collection of routine biological samples (lengths, age structures, gonads, etc.) from marine fish * Skilled in using Android mobile device applications for field collections of environmental data At CSS, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and merit-based workplace. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. ## Description CSS, Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to support the Fisheries Statistics Division (FSD) of NOAA's Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC). This individual will provide biological sampling, data management, and analytical support for the Trip Interview Program (TIP).
