The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant's immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision. ## Description Under the direct supervision of the Operations and Management Consultant Manger, this position is responsible for researching various databases to ensure information received or disseminated is accurate and complies with state and federal requirements. This position independently researches and reviews information to make a recommendation on a firearms transaction decision. This position is responsible for applying federal and state disqualifiers as well as maintaining, organizing, and prioritizing their own workflow.
