Preferred * Experience supporting learning management systems such as Canvas or similar platforms. * Experience supporting instructional technology within higher education or a comparable environment. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance. * Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Understanding of accessibility and usability best practices within digital learning environments. * Interest in emerging educational technologies, including responsible applications of artificial intelligence in higher education. Typical Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible but must provide regular availability between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on departmental needs. Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Ability to perform work in a standard office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Must be able to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds and travel between campus locations as needed. ## Description The Instructional Technology Associate is a collaborative role within WITS responsible for supporting and advancing the University's Learning Management System and broader instructional technology environment. This position partners closely with stakeholders to promote accessibility and best practices of academic technologies across online and hybrid learning environments. This role serves as a key resource for LMS support, and a collaborative resource for emerging educational technologies including responsible applications of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.
