## About the Role

* Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
 * Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
 * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to think critically and work through technical problems systematically.
 * Valid driver''s license with the ability to travel locally as needed.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is a plus:

 * Mobile device support (iOS/iPadOS)
 * Microsoft 365 / Office 365
 * Mac OS support
 * Firewalls or security solutions
 * Network cabling and hardware installation (Ubiquity preferred)
 * Technical construction, installation, or related hands-on project work

## Description

We are actively recruiting a Support Technician for our client in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This is a direct-hire opportunity that will require a combination of onsite work, customer site visits, and remote support responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of help desk support, hands-on technical work, and customer interaction. Must have strong Windows troubleshooting experience, basic networking knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to IT support.
Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Essential Responsibilities

 * Provide technical support for end users experiencing issues related to:
 + Windows operating systems
 + Email and messaging platforms
 + Microsoft Office applications
 + Mac computers
 + Mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
 + Basic networking and connectivity issues
 * Respond to and resolve help desk tickets and support requests in a timely manner.
 * Travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
 * Assist with workstation deployments, hardware setup, and technology installations.
 * Support basic infrastructure projects, including:
 + Running and organizing network cabling
 + Equipment installation and setup
 + General technology-related infrastructure tasks
 * Document troubleshooting efforts, resolutions, and customer interactions.
 * Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism and effective communication., Ability to perform the physical duties associated with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer equipment, including occasional lifting of equipment and working in confined spaces such as under desks.
Work Environment
This role includes a combination of office-based work, customer-site visits, and remote support activities. Candidates should be comfortable working in a variety of environments and adapting to changing daily priorities.
