At least 12 years of experience in providing computer systems administration for Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu) systems. Background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job. ## Description MCSG Technologies is seeking a senior Linux Systems Engineer in support of lab and IT operations at NASA GSFC. The candidate will provide Linux administration for all IT systems (developed, procured, and maintained) for services utilized across the Directorate. This includes continuous monitoring of the application environment, multi-use servers, software licensing, and virtual machines. This position requires strong technical judgment, a security-minded approach, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the vision to help build a more efficient, resilient, and future-ready IT infrastructure from both a technical and resource perspective.
