## Description

The Vice President of Engineering will mainly direct daily operations of the engineering department to ensure the processes and procedures are compliant with quality criterions. Also, the Vice President of Engineering will be tasked with applying a departmental budget and reviewing cost and expense reports. Also, the Vice President of Engineering will utilize his or her expertise for enhancements of methodologies based off of need evaluations. The Vice President of Engineering will have several direct reports from the engineering team and will serve as a guide and mentor to help the department reach operational excellence., * The principal job of the Scottsdale Vice President of Engineering is to manage daily functions of the organization's engineering department to make sure all operations adhere to standards required by the company as well as quality regulations.

 * The Scottsdale Vice President of Engineering will also be expected to employ his or her expertise to recommend advancements based off of manufacturing needs.
 * He or she will be responsible for developing and monitoring the engineering department's budget and appraising expense reports.
 * For this job, there is minimal travel outside of Scottsdale, Arizona that is required.
 * The Vice President of Engineering will develop and mentor the engineering team to assist them in meeting goals and developing strategies.
 * The Scottsdale Vice President of Engineering will take on any additionally assigned jobs if deemed necessary.
