As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Google Public Sector Capture team, you will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of long-term public sector capture effort from initial lead through RFI responses, technical team identification and leadership, technical briefings, solution architecture, risk management, technical writing, technical peer reviews, verbal clarifications and presentations, etc. As a capture TPM, you are responsible for all requirements decomposition and documentation for requirements traceability matrices, solution/system architecture and design, technical approach and concept of operations development, solution lists of materials, technical team identification and leadership, prime team fire-walling of technical resources, etc. This role is largely done at the keyboard but does include occasional customer- and prime-facing work.
