## About the Role

* Candidate with 7+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, or quality engineering
 * Strong hands-on programming experience in C#
 * Experience with Selenium WebDriver (web UI automation) and API automation (REST/SOAP)
 * Relevant automation experience to understand existing frameworks and scale up quickly to create/debug scripts
 * Experience creating new automation frameworks from scratch (web, API, service-level, and end-to-end)
 * Strong SQL and data validation experience across systems
 * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity)
 * Mortgage, Financial Services, Lending, or other regulated-industry domain knowledge is a plus

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, service-level, integration, and end-to-end testing using C# and Selenium WebDriver
 * Validate application behavior beyond the UI service responses, data transformations, event flows, and downstream system impacts
 * Assist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure level
 * Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, reduce test flakiness, and improve automation reliability
 * Investigate complex application, automation, data, integration, and environment issues using logs, metrics, traces, and telemetry
 * Determine root cause of issues (database, file systems, etc.) and work with Development teams to resolve them
 * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure results provide meaningful feedback for build/deploy/release decisions
 * Support release readiness activities with clear test results, risk indicators, and quality recommendations
 * Support planned production releases and critical off-hours deployments as needed
 * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; must be a quick learner
 * Soft skills: strong communication, presentation, documentation, and team coordination; must be flexible for urgent quality-related tasks
