 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions., * Experience supporting transportation, transit, rail, bus operations, utilities, or other critical infrastructure environments.
 * Experience collaborating with Networking, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Operations, and Procurement teams.
 * Demonstrated success leading strategic planning sessions, architecture reviews, and solution design workshops.

## Description

Join a leading organization focused on modernizing critical transportation infrastructure through innovative Operational Technology (OT) solutions. As a Sr Network Architect, you will lead the design, strategy, and modernization of mission-critical OT network environments that support safe, secure, and reliable 24/7 transit operations.
Sr Network Architect Responsibilities

 * Lead the design, modeling, and long-term planning of OT network infrastructure, including core, distribution, and edge devices.
 * Architect highly available networks supporting CCTV, Public Address (PA), CBTC, Bus Radio, power systems, cybersecurity platforms, and other train and bus operational technologies.
 * Develop resilient, scalable network architectures that ensure continuous 24/7 operations and regulatory compliance.
 * Provide technical leadership and guidance to operations teams on OT network initiatives and modernization projects.
 * Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IT and OT environments while maintaining strict network segmentation and security controls.
 * Develop and maintain enterprise network standards, reference architectures, and modeling documentation using enterprise architecture tools such as Abacus.
 * Drive legacy system modernization by designing extensible, resilient solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce long-term costs.
 * Present network strategies, architecture roadmaps, and solution recommendations to leadership while ensuring strong return on investment.
