## About the Role

* Extreme Networks experience is mandatory. General Cisco/network engineering experience alone is not sufficient.
 * Specific experience with BOSS and/or VOSS.
 * Experience with ERS4850/4900 and VSP7200/8400 is highly desirable.
 * Must be comfortable performing VLAN, port and interface changes remotely.
 * Must be capable of troubleshooting during live migration/change windows.
 * Must be comfortable spending significant time on a bridge awaiting instructions.
 * Confirm availability to start July 31.
 * Confirm willingness and ability to work the assigned overnight or weekend schedule.

## Description

* Participate on migration bridge calls
 * Remotely access Extreme switches
 * Identify the correct switch, interface, port and VLAN
 * Move ports between VLANs
 * Enable/disable switch ports
 * Make configuration changes as directed
 * Save configurations
 * Verify connectivity following changes
 * Troubleshoot network/connectivity issues
 * Execute changes during maintenance windows
 * Coordinate with the broader migration team
