## About the Role

* US Citizenship is required - Do not apply if you are not a US Citizen
 * The ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills and possess 5+ years of experience in quality assurance testing
 * Strong and demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
 * High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while successfully meeting deadlines
 * Knowledge of Appian Low code is a nice to have skill
 * Understanding of Agile is required
 * Experience working in a complex engineering environment with prior experience as a quality assurance tester
 * Experience using Github or other project management software
 * Automation experience (Selenium, Fitnesse, Soap UI, Postman, Microsoft Playwright) is a must
 * Performance testing using JMeter is required
 * Experience in 508 compliance testing - DHS Trusted Tester Certification is a plus
 * Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for testing
 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology or related field, * Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar

## Description

* As a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester, you will be an integral team member who assists the team in ensuring high quality code is delivered to our client
 * Responsibilities will include testing and verification of code, reporting and recording defects, coordination with architects, functional analysts, and developers on testing and testing results, documenting test scripts, participating in design reviews, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities
 * Work in an Agile environment and participate in scrum ceremonies and product planning activities
 * Plan, organize, and implement day to day activities of testing
 * Coordinate with developers, architects, and functional analysts within an agile/scrum environment
 * Review and understand user stories and associated acceptance criteria
 * Write test scripts based on defined and approved user stories and acceptance criteria
 * Execute all phases and types of testing to include user story testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing of a release, and possibly performance testing
 * Assist with the building of test strategies & methodologies, automation and site monitoring focused on infrastructure and high availability
 * Understand complex business and functional requirements and provide direction in designing the technical test cases that thoroughly test the tech stack from architectural standpoint and meet the product requirements
 * Perform manual testing of created functionality and creation of automated test scripts for services-based web applications
