* Epic Beaker certification; alternate LIS certification/experience will be considered
 * Demonstrated expertise within a specialized area of information systems software implementation and operational management

 * Experience in business process mapping
 * Experience defining requirements and software development methodologies
 * Ability to correlate between business, functional, and technical requirements
 * Strong functional IT, general management consulting, or healthcare business background
 * Solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills
 * Experience developing presentations for project work
 * Ability to plan and facilitate meetings with diverse participants
 * Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations
 * BS or BA degree, computer science or business or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systemsMinimal of 5 years of experience within an application team

## Description

The Senior Epic Beaker Analyst formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business applications and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and application configurations to solve complex problems considering software capacity and limitations, operation time, and desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper requirements specifications. Not only possess full technical knowledge of most phases of system analysis but also considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Acts as a team leader for projects with a moderate budget or of a short to intermediate duration., * Analyze business and user needs

 * Document requirements in business requirement documentation standard format
 * Develop new or revise existing (problematic) system logic or configuration
 * Evaluate business implications of technology on the current business environmentTeam leader for projects with moderate budgets, mentors and leads other Business System/Application Analysts
