While this is a hands-on software development role rather than a people-management position, it requires strong, proven project management skills. Because you will be working independently a majority of the time, your ability to organize, prioritize, and self-direct the migration strategy is critical to our success. Your workload will be split between supporting our legacy web architecture (Classic ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS, and SQL Server) and building out the new platform using React.JS/.NET with a MySQL backend. The ideal candidate possesses a strong software development lifecycle background, thinks systematically, and excels at driving projects from conception to completion under minimal supervision., * Workload Prioritization: Apply strong working knowledge of project management and time management techniques to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple workloads with minimal supervision. * Milestone Tracking: Break down the overarching migration goal into clear technical milestones, self-directing your daily tasks to meet deadlines under pressure. * Lifecycle Management: Manage the full software development lifecycle of the transition, proactively identifying technical dependencies, resource constraints, and deployment risks. * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain necessary project plans and thorough documentation of all system/application builds.
