S. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with NI customers, sales personnel, engineering teams, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to define, document, design, deploy and sustain NI products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for large scale turnkey engineering solutions. The ideal candidate has experience and knowledge regarding NI products and system level design. This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, and interface with alliance partners, contract manufacturers and internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain custom solutions worldwide. This is a high visibility role within NI requiring daily interaction with NI customers, NI Alliance Partners, NI Sales Teams, NI Engineering Teams, and Executive Management. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Interacting with a wide variety of NI customers, NI staff, external alliance partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing and sustaining custom solutions * Generating requirements documents, statements of work and Bills of Materials * Defining and implementing project plans, managing milestones and holding reviews to ensure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment * Specifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated solutions * Directing support personnel, managing project technical deliverables, guiding technical decisions and driving field found issues to resolution * Traveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives Who You Are: You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
