Previous experience in a testing center, academic or customer service setting desired. Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with students effectively. Computer Skills Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn a web based testing center application. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job are correctable to 20/20 vision. ## Description The Exam Coordinator will assist with administering and proctoring professional computerized exams to all students within the Testing Center. This position reports to the Testing Center Manager. The daily functions include validating the exam delivery data and time, ensuring the faculty selected the proper delivery options, and preparing for any special instructions requested for each exam. The hours for this position are Monday- Friday from 6:30am - 3:00pm., * Perform daily Testing Center opening and closing procedures. Perform basic technical support to fix issues related to the technology within the Testing Center. * Provide customer support to students, faculty and staff users of testing software. Assist the Testing Center Manager with scheduling all tests based on a committee agreement that will service all colleges. * Understand testing requirements for exam sponsor and perform quality and security checks of all exams prior to examination time. Ensure any special instructions/materials, etc. for exams are followed/available. * Assist Testing Center Manager with creating, printing and posting seating assignments for exams. * Check-in examinees and verify identification. Explain exam process; ask examinees to place all personal belongings in a personal locker. Direct examinees to assigned seat, help examinees begin the exam, monitor examinees, and provide technical assistance during examination time. * Maintain a clean, safe and quality Testing Center environment.
