## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering required, with a Master's of Science preferred.
 * A minimum of 10 years of automotive design experience, resulting in expert knowledge of chassis and vehicle design
 * Extensive experience using design software, specifically CATIA, to construction all aspects of a vehicle's chassis.
 * An individual who is also a vehicle dynamics specialist is preferred.
 * This position does not require travel at this time.

## Description

* The Design Engineer must lead the design process from conception through completion of the program.
 * This position must have a high attention to detail to complete the requirements of this job.
 * The Design Engineer will be responsible for the overall cost of the program, including implementing cost saving proposals.
 * This job lends itself to an individual who is able to work in a collaborative, team environment.
