 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
 * 0-3 years software engineering or systems integration experience
 * Java / J2EE development experience

 * Relational database experience including Oracle or PostgreSQL
 * Understanding of Hibernate / JPA concepts
 * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

## Description

* Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software applications supporting Navy operational systems
 * Build and enhance full stack applications using Java and JavaScript technologies
 * Participate in agile sprint planning, development cycles, reviews, and retrospectives
 * Troubleshoot software defects and system integration challenges
 * Produce maintainable, readable, documented code aligned with engineering standards
 * Support validation, software integration, and deployment activities
 * Contribute to technical documentation and configuration management efforts
 * Collaborate with software engineers and technical stakeholders in laboratory and operational environments
