## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). 5 Years of experience may be subsituted for bachelors degree.
 * Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c, or newer).
 * Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
 * Experience with Oracle RMAN backup and recovery.
 * Experience performing database performance tuning using Oracle tools.
 * Strong understanding of indexing, query optimization, execution plans, and database architecture.
 * Experience supporting Linux-based server environments.
 * Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
 * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
 * Experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, or GoldenGate.
 * Experience supporting Agile software development teams.
 * Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
 * Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

## Description

Looking for a Database Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong Oracle Database administration skills, advanced SQL and PL/SQL development expertise, and experience supporting mission-critical applications in secure, high-availability environments. This individual will work closely with software developers, system engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of database systems.
