## About the Role

The Chicago, Illinois Design Engineer will be responsible for using previous experience and knowledge in the field to develop and design complex products. It is the job responsibility of the Design Engineer to manage a library of CAD models and product documentation. The position also requires the Chicago, Illinois area Design Engineer to utilize manufacturing methods, such as sheet metal and casting, in their designs. Additionally, the Design Engineer must be able to perform stack up analysis and prepare 2D documentation in order to meet ISO standards. The ideal candidate for the job will have strong communication and problem-solving skills to be successful in this job. Finally, the Chicago, Illinois Design Engineer job opening will integrate and package electronic hardware into the required assembly., * Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required for this job.

 * At least 4-5 years of Design Engineering experience.
 * Ideal candidates will be proficient in 3D CAD System and SolidWorks.
 * Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards is preferred.
 * Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required for this job.
