Installs, configures, repairs, and analyzes computer-associated equipment. Programs routine settings on systems including servers, desktops, printers, and software. Uses discretion and judgment to organize and perform requested services promptly. Frequently requires analysis of facts and circumstances to solve problems within the limits of accepted practices. Provide technical support in the use of hardware and software throughout the district., Technical Support 1. Assists with local area networks, file server configuration, and other related peripherals 2. Provide technical assistance to Administration and Campus Office Staff for use of software 3. Install and upgrade servers, computers and peripherals as needed 4. Act as liaison with district technology personnel 5. Perform upgrades to software as needed 6. Install and configure legacy software as needed 7. Supports developing SIS Reports and PowerSchool Software Maintenance 1. Diagnose and repair software installation, configuration, and accessibility. 2. Service district software according to established preventive maintenance schedule 3. Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance 4. Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform updates, repairs and service 5. Maintain Active Directory Database Administration 1. Manage tables, stored procedures, views, functions, and other database objects. 2. Collect, organize, and analyze information related to the development of database applications for specific user needs. 3. Evaluate software and hardware suitability and applicability within district's data 4. 5. Provide technical assistance to staff database personnel. 6. Perform data downloads from mainframe and other external sources to the data warehouse. 7. Prepare work plans and reports 8. Prepare systems analysis for district users and recommend hardware and software programs for database access, control, and input. 9. Develop and recommend standards in data definitions and database security. 10. Communicate date and field clarifications with system staff. Policy, Reports and Law 11. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal policies and procedures for software additions or revisions. 12. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. 13. Compile, maintain and retain computerized reports, records, and other required documents. Inventory 1. Maintain accurate inventory of software throughout the district 2. Identify, request, and control the inventory of diagnostic and repair software Cybersecurity Safety 1. Operate software according to prescribed safety procedures 2. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including installing, configuring, and repairing district software and securing district data. 3. Correct and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately. 4. Monitor data integrity for potential risk. Other 1.
