Supported systems may include operating systems, business applications, server hardware, security tools, monitoring tools, web servers, application servers, integration servers, and other departmental or enterprise applications or systems. They work closely with other teams to develop technical solutions. They also provide technical support for problems not resolved by the Integrated Operations Center or IT Service Desk. In addition, Senior System Administrators participate in the development and execution of technology strategies to support organizational activities and direction. They provide advanced level support for systems; including troubleshooting, performance, monitoring, cost-benefit, security, and licensing analysis. They stay aware of industry trends, business requirements, and technical design methodologies to aid in the development of creative/innovative IT/OT solutions., This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
