## About the Role

* 2-8 years of relevant network engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2-6 years with a Master's degree
 * Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networks using Cisco and/or Juniper technologies
 * Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
 * Experience performing network configuration, testing, monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting
 * Familiarity with DISA standards, Change Management processes, and DoD telecommunications concepts
 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team environment
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related technical field
 * Active
 * DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

## Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an to support a company focused on delivering resilient, secure network solutions across the global Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). This position is at or The will provide hands-on network implementation, activation, and operational support for mission-critical DoD networks, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with DISA standards. This role directly supports national defense operations by enabling reliable, secure connectivity for DoD mission partners worldwide.

 * Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, monitoring, and activation of network equipment supporting DoD networks
 * Coordinate customer activities including Initial Test & Acceptance (IT&A), service activations, and DISA-required reporting
 * Manage Service Orders and Telecommunication Service Orders (TSOs) in accordance with Change Management procedures
 * Configure and implement network devices using approved configlets while validating customer requirements within DISN databases
 * Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve network issues by collaborating with customers, solution architects, DISA PMs, and vendor SMEs
