## Description

Systems Engineer I is an entry level position that will provide opportunities to work directly with technical peers, chief engineers, and systems engineers within the company as a technical contributor on complex communications signal processing problems within the ISR domain. The candidate will have opportunities in the development and application of advanced methods, theories, and research techniques applying systems engineering and signal processing to solve challenging problems., * Research and develop functional understanding of classic, modern, or emerging wireless communications protocols and systems (e.g. AM/FM, DMR, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee)

 * Design and prototype software defined radio solutions for signal processing problems
 * Model and simulate wireless signals and RF propagation effects
 * Work with software development teams to develop, integrate, and test software defined radio systems
 * Perform testing and validation of ISR systems in the laboratory and outdoor facilities and test ranges
