 * Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, or equivalent cloud database platforms.
 * Strong security, encryption, auditing, and least-privilege practices.
 * Excellent written communication., * ERP or data warehouse experience.
 * High-volume transactional platforms.
 * BI and warehouse modeling.
 * Infrastructure-as-code.
 * Redis or distributed caching.
 * Event-driven architectures.
 * AI-assisted engineering experience.

## Description

* Purpose: Own the performance, reliability, security, and recoverability of a high-traffic PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server cloud environment., * Own production performance across PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
 * Diagnose and resolve execution plan, indexing, locking, blocking, and query performance issues.
 * Design and operate high availability, replication, failover, and disaster recovery strategies.
 * Lead zero-downtime schema changes and production database migrations.
 * Execute large-scale data migrations and backfills using safe, verifiable processes.
 * Maintain secure database access, encryption, auditing, and governance practices.
 * Build monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning processes.
 * Support reporting, analytics, and warehouse performance.
 * Continuously improve database reliability, safety, and operational excellence.
