Broadly speaking, he or she is responsible for supporting the development team and managing and maintaining all fundraising records, database functions, and donor correspondence. Innovators are impactful decision-makers who are accountable for the performance of a sub-program within their team. Sub-program success is crucial for the team's and the agency's missional success. They continually seek ways to enhance processes and systems for their sub-program, team, and the agency., The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and works Monday through Friday. Office hours are flexible. Evening and weekend work is required. It is a non-exempt position. The Annual Giving and Database Manager is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to ~20 pounds.Conditions and benefits are contained in the board-approved . Crosstrain with fellow staff to ensure a steady flow of business despite absences. 8. Wholly manage an agency subprogram: a. Fun Team Donor Database b. from the non-lead gift donors. 9. The job requires routine, independent, subjective, and significant . 10. Management Philosophy & System: a. Deploy Gung Ho management principles and practices. Read the book Gung Ho by Ken Blanchard b. Utilize the Traction EOS management system. Read a summary of the book Traction by Gino Wickman. 11. Program budget creation and adherence (if applicable). 12. Assist the agency in the creation and operation of checks/balances to ensure system-wide integrity. Think in terms of fraud and theft . We guard against inherent opportunities, not individuals. 13. Learn from your peers - create and maintain relationships with Habitat for Humanity International and other Habitat affiliates. 14. Independently represent the agency outside of the office/warehouse/store. 15. The position has the authority to temporarily deviate from the agency's standard operating procedures when within the context of our Core Values and as may be wise depending upon the circumstances. Specific Responsibilities: * Assist the Director of Philanthropy, Chief Philanthropy Officer, and the Fundraising Team to help meet the team's and individuals' fundraising goals. * Administers, maintains, and operates The Raiser's Edge Database to optimize the use of its functionalities to support all agency resource development, marketing, cultivation, and constituent relations goals. * Develops and maintains comprehensive operating policies and procedures for gift and constituent management within the database to ensure the accuracy and quality of all donor information and to preserve data integrity and long-term donor relations. * Manages employee giving program * Manages Foundation Builder Monthly Giving Program * Cultivate and steward Annual Fund cash contributions annually from individuals within the THFH service area, including Monthly Donors. * Processes online contributions and electronic funds transfers on a routine basis. * Generates donor acknowledgment letters and gift receipts for cash and in-kind contributions to the organization. Ensures that all such correspondence is issued in a timely manner and includes appropriate tax information. * Cooperates in the transfer and verification of donated cash, checks, and other securities related to the fundraising projects and initiatives of the agency in coordination with members of the accounting department. * Directly receives and records all donations and builds and maintains pledge installment schedules. * Help Fun Team members be on top of donor pledge payments. * Performs advanced administrative tasks in support of all fundraising and donor development efforts, including the BUILDSTRONG Lunches, Sponsorship Packets, and other duties from time to time as specified. * Support BUILDSTRONG Program planning logistics. * Invite groups, individuals, and those in your personal and professional circles to HabiTours, the annual BUILDSTRONG Lunch, and other Habitat events as necessary. * Support volunteer services as needed. * Other duties as assigned by the Director of Philanthropy, Chief Philanthropy Officer, or the CEO. Misc: 1. Professional appearance and demeanor. 2. Pleasant speaking voice and articulation. 3. Availability to work on Saturdays and evenings, as necessary. 4. Ability to type 40 words per minute. 5. Valid Texas driver's license and operational vehicle. 6. Other duties as assigned.
