## About the Role

* 2+ years of professional software development experience.
 * Strong experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.
 * Experience with Jetpack Compose or traditional Android Views, Android Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
 * Experience with Retrofit or similar networking libraries.
 * Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
 * Experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core/.NET 8 preferred).
 * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
 * Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
 * Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.

Nice to Have

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

 * Jetpack Compose
 * Coroutines and Flow
 * Espresso or other automated testing frameworks
 * React
 * JavaScript/TypeScript
 * Docker
 * AWS or Azure
 * CI/CD pipelines
 * Analytics and application telemetry, * Bachelor's (Required), * Software development: 2 years (Preferred)
 * Mobile Development: 2 years (Preferred)

Tiny Home Consulting is looking for a Full Stack Android Developer who enjoys solving challenging problems, building polished applications, and working alongside a collaborative team that values quality over bureaucracy.

We're a growing software development company based just outside Cincinnati. Our team is small by design, allowing every developer to have a meaningful impact on the products we build. You'll work closely with Product, UX, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver modern software solutions for clients across multiple industries.

What You'll Do

 * Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
 * Build and enhance backend services using C# and .NET.
 * Design, consume, and improve RESTful APIs.
 * Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
 * Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
 * Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
 * Contribute ideas that make both our products and our engineering team stronger.
