We want a changemaker: sharp, curious, keen to grow, and in it for the long run. * A master's degree. Ideally business or data-oriented, or an equivalent level gained through experience or life. * 0 to 2 years of experience. * Languages: NL or FR at C2, plus English at C1. You're willing to sharpen your second national language during the traineeship. * Affinity with AI, data and business. You'll need the business sense to see what matters, the curiosity to dig into the data, and to be at ease with figures. This isn't your dream job if… * You want to become a deep data or AI expert. This is a business-and-change role, not a deep technical one. * You need everything defined and stable. Big organisations are messy, and you'll be untangling before you build. * You want fast results without the patience a large company demands. * You think you're done learning. This is a development track, feedback and growth are the whole point ## Description * Assignment one: contribute to improvement. You take on a concrete improvement challenge in your first department, and get to grips with how NN actually works: the priorities, the stakeholders, the pain points, where things get stuck. You challenge the way things are done with curiosity, data and business sense, and turn what you find into action. By the end, you've delivered visible improvements and built your first real network. * Assignment two: mobilise change. Now you take on something with more at stake: a change initiative that touches several teams and ways of working. You take ownership, align people around a shared direction, and coordinate the moving parts to keep momentum. This is where you learn to bring people along, because the win isn't just a better process, it's people who understand it, commit to it, and actually use it. * Assignment three: drive transformation. Your last assignment is the biggest. You experiment with leading a transformation workstream end to end, mobilising stakeholders across departments, and deliver measurable impact that outlasts your time on it. By now you're not asking permission to make things happen. You're leading it. With of course still some support in the back. Department by department * Finance. The engine room of numbers, reporting and forecasting. Here you'll work on things like turning scattered financial data into something leadership can actually read, or using data to spot patterns in reporting that no one had time to chase. If you like seeing how the money actually moves, this is where it clicks. * Center Of Excellence. Where the data and AI capability is being built. You'll sit close to the teams shaping NN's tools and systems, working on use cases like predictive maintenance on processes, or building something that turns a manual, repetitive task into an automated one. Not writing the code yourself, but making sure it solves the right business problem. * Customer Experience. Where the business meets the customer. Here you'll work on things like turning customer feedback and service data into a smarter way of responding, or helping a team use data to understand what customers actually need. The department where change is most visible, because people feel it. WITH GUIDANCE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY You won't do this alone. A whole support system backs you through the programme, each part with a different job. * Your Ormit Talent coach. Focused on you as a person, not your output. Your coach helps you reflect, grow your human skills, and build the confidence to take ownership. * Your assignment manager at NN. The one who gives you real, challenging work in each department, follows you up day to day, and gives you honest feedback on how you're doing. * Your NN mentor. A senior NN manager, one to one, who stays with you across both years. Not your manager, but your sounding board: someone who helps you decode the organisation, opens doors, and keeps an eye on the longer game. * Your OT trainers. They sharpen the human skills that make a changemaker: communication skills, stakeholder management, … * Your Ormit Talent community. A network of current trainees and alumni who've been where you are, loved NN, stayed after their traineeship, and are ready to help you find your place there too. ## Related Videos - [The 2026 Talent Pivot: Essential Trends for an Evolving Workforce](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100098-the-2026-talent-pivot-essential-trends-for-an-evolving-workforce) - [Edit Your Future: Queerverse Radical AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/909-edit-your-future-queerverse-radical-ai) - [Angstfreude - AI and Corporate Culture - The Thrill and the Threat](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100354-angstfreude-ai-and-corporate-culture-the-thrill-and-the-threat) - [Beyond Hiring: Building a Sustainable Talent Acquisition Engine at Deutsche Bahn](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1856-beyond-hiring-building-a-sustainable-talent-acquisition-engine-at-deutsche-bahn) - [AI is dead, long live AK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1093-ai-is-dead-long-live-ak) - [AI PowerPlay: Building High-Impact Teams & Transformative Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1005-ai-powerplay-building-high-impact-teams-transformative-solutions) ## Related Articles - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [MLOps – What’s the deal behind it?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/125-mlops-what-s-the-deal-behind-it) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [Best Coding Boot Camps in Germany](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/237-best-coding-boot-camps-in-germany)
