## Description

Are you an experienced IT Service Desk or Support Engineer looking to take the next step in your healthcare IT career?
We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver with strong foundational IT skills to join our Digital Service Desk team. In this role, you will provide vital 2nd-line support for the core clinical applications that keep Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust running smoothly.
No prior clinical systems experience? Don't worry, full specialist training will be provided!
If you have strong general IT troubleshooting skills, great customer service, and an eagerness to learn, we will teach you the clinical systems on the job.
Main duties of the job
What Youll Be Doing
Working as part of a collaborative digital team, you will ensure our frontline healthcare staff have reliable access to essential patient-care applications:

 * 2nd-Line Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues escalated from the Service Desk, working with 3rd-party software suppliers when needed.
 * System Configuration: Maintain and update core system master files to support changing trust workflows and NHS reporting standards.
 * Data Quality & Improvement: Identify data anomalies, work with departmental managers to fix root causes, and partner with Digital Trainers to keep staff supported.
 * Continuous Learning: Develop specialist expertise across key hospital systems (PAS, EPR, Digital Dictation, and e-Consent tools).
