## About the Role

* Previous experience in an ICT Security Analyst or Cyber Security role.
 * Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management and incident response.
 * Knowledge of security frameworks, standards and best practices.
 * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy ICT environment.

## Description

Concept Resources, are supporting Milton Keynes City Council who are looking for an experienced ICT Security Analyst to join its ICT Security team on 3 months temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in protecting the council's systems, data and digital services, ensuring essential public services remain secure, resilient and reliable.

Working within a collaborative ICT environment, you will help reduce cyber risk, respond to security incidents, strengthen resilience and provide practical security advice across a wide range of council services., * Monitor and respond to cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.

 * Investigate and support the resolution of security incidents.
 * Help develop and maintain ICT security policies, standards and best practices.
 * Support cyber risk management and security compliance activities.
 * Provide security guidance for ICT projects and technology changes.
 * Work with internal teams, partners and suppliers to promote secure working practices.
 * Assist with business continuity, resilience planning and security awareness initiatives.
 * Contribute to the continual improvement of the council's cyber security posture.
