## About the Role

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced API Platform Engineer to join our growing team. An experienced API platform development engineer with Apigee hybrid migration experience, strong proxy development skills, Kubernetes and scripting capability, and the ability to work directly within a team environment.

## Description

* Apigee hybrid / Apigee X experience: hands-on proxy migration, runtime, environments, deployment patterns, and operational troubleshooting
 * API proxy development: building, refactoring, and migrating proxies; shared flows; policies; flow hooks; target endpoints; fault handling
 * Cluster scripting / automation: scripting for deployment, configuration, environment setup, and operational tasks in Linux-based or cloud-native environments
 * Kubernetes fundamentals: understanding of clusters, namespaces, pods, deployments, config maps, secrets, ingress, and troubleshooting
 * CI/CD tooling: experience with pipeline-based deployment, version control, and release automation
 * Cloud platform familiarity: Azure/AWS is ideal, but adjacent cloud experience helps if they understand containerized deployments and infrastructure automation
 * Integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, auth patterns, transformations, backend connectivity, and API lifecycle support.
