The ability to utilize resources at hand to discover, understand and resolve issues on complex systems. Confidential or sensitive information may be encountered during work activities and the expectation to keep this information private and secured is required. After hours support and on call may be required as the need arises. Basic understanding of networking includes TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP. Strong understanding of Microsoft Desktop/Server operating systems including Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016 or later. Windows experience must include break/fix, installation and configuration of both physical and virtual servers. Operational knowledge of VMWare vSphere/ESX with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues. Linux experience is recommended. Must be able to work well in a team atmosphere. Must be a self-starter and work well without continual supervision. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in computer information systems or related curriculum and 2 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of certifications, education and experience. Network+ or CTP certification is preferred. Must be able to pass background and security clearance checks. ## Description The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification.
