* Proven experience performing data analysis in a business environment using Microsoft Excel as the primary tool
 * Strong knowledge of Excel functions, formulas, data cleaning techniques, data validation, and data visualization tools within Excel
 * Experience identifying data inconsistencies and implementing corrective measures
 * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and reporting

## Description

Use Microsoft Excel as your primary tool to clean, validate, analyze, and visualize real-world data that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. Your domain expertise will shape how models learn, reason, and perform. This is a remote contractor role with a mission-driven data lab focused on converting subject matter expertise into high-quality training data across domains such as finance, healthcare, STEM engineering, and more. Key Responsibilities

 * Perform in-depth data analysis in Microsoft Excel to surface actionable insights and support decision-making across teams
 * Review, clean, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity
 * Develop clear reports and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into meaningful analyses
 * Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in complex datasets and contribute to strategic initiatives
 * Document methodologies, results, and recommendations with meticulous attention to detail
 * Work cross-functionally to contribute expertise that enhances data-driven decision making within the customer team
