As an Avionics Test Engineer at Relativity Space, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing avionics testing strategies for our rocket systems. This includes working closely with the avionics design team to identify and troubleshoot any issues and developing automation and testing infrastructure to improve efficiency and effectiveness., In this role, you'll develop and automate the test infrastructure used to validate Terran R's Flight Termination System hardware. You'll build automated test workflows and data review pipelines, support qualification and acceptance testing, and partner closely with avionics, software, and systems engineers to prepare flight hardware for integration. This role combines hands-on test and lab experience, developing test execution automation and data review pipelines and careful attention to detail, resulting in automated tests and reports used in our V&V processes. A strong candidate is comfortable working with CAD models and electrical schematics as well as software requirements and design documents, and can effectively execute, document, and communicate system test results in a collaborative, safety-critical environment.
