Typically, candidates will bring 2-4 years of relevant software development experience, though strong candidates earlier in their careers are encouraged to apply. * Experience developing software using C# and the .NET platform. * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design practices. * Good knowledge of asynchronous programming using async/await. * Experience developing user interfaces using WPF and XAML. * Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar technologies. * Ability to debug, test, and troubleshoot software applications. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative development team. Additional Skills/Preferences: * Understanding of data binding and MVVM design patterns. * Familiarity with software design patterns and clean architecture principles. * Exposure to engineering, simulation, CAD, CAE, scientific, or technical software applications. * Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices. Additional Information: This role is based in our Nottingham office, with a hybrid working arrangement of at least 3 days per week on-site. You will join a collaborative, cross-functional product development team working alongside software engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and domain experts.
