What you will be doing… As a Standards Engineer within the Data & Devices Business Unit, you will be TE's voice in global standards bodies and the bridge between external specifications and our internal product roadmaps. You will influence next-generation protocols, ensure TE's designs stay compliant and differentiated, and drive company-wide alignment on standards strategy. Job Requirements Industry Standards Leadership + Represent TE in consortia such as SNIA, INCITS, STA, PCI-SIG, CXL Consortium, IEEE 802.3, OCP, Ethernet Alliance, and InfiniBand Trade Association. + Propose, draft, and defend technical contributions that advance TE's strategic goals (e.g., connector footprints, channel definitions, thermal envelopes). + Build relationships with voting members, editors, peer interconnect suppliers, and working-group chairs to shape agendas and accelerate TE-favored specifications.
