This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for the technical strategy, vision, architecture and evolution of the LRH technical infrastructure and associated technologies. This role will be responsible for the implementation of server, virtualization and storage platforms required to support Lakeland Regional's patient, guest and employee population. He/she must have the experience and technical competence to implement server infrastructure designs and follow through with their implementations as well as operational hand overs. This individual will work collaboratively with other groups to lead sustaining engineering activities such as upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, and expansions as well as provide last-level support of escalated technical issues. Standard Work Duties: IS Infrastructure Engineer * Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains server hardware, storage (SAN) and virtual infrastructure including virtual desktop (VDI) infrastructure * Manage and maintain Virtual Servers, DFS, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS infrastructure * Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and report backups of VMs, Servers, Databases and Files Shares with enterprise monitoring solution * Uses processes for monitoring performance of installed systems or services and takes corrective actions when necessary. Uses tools for capacity planning, reporting, and proactive problem solving.
