## About the Role

* Experience in a Technical Sales or Data security related role
 * Knowledge of how to protect data across its lifecycle including:
 * Data protection and compliance simplification by discovering sensitive data, detecting threats and vulnerabilities, and simplifying audit-readiness
 * Helping client achieve crypto-agility by managing encryption at scale, reducing cryptography risk, and preparing for quantum resilience
 * Knowledge of data security platforms (IBM Guardium, Varonis, Cyera, Microsoft Purview, Imperva)
 * Experience working with the sales lifecycle and driving customer outcomes
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization
 * Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do
 * Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with peers and clients.

Preferred technical and professional experience

 * Experience with IBM Guardium Data Security solution (Cryptography Manager, Data Protection, Data Security Center, Discover and Classify and Key Lifecycle Manager)
 * Competitive product experience a plus (Cyera, Imperva, Varonis, Microsoft, Wiz)
 * Data & AI Market Knowledge: Expertise in the Data & AI market to quickly become a trusted client advisor

## Description

As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

 * Client Strategy Design: Creating client strategies for Data & AI infrastructure.
 * Solution Definition: Defining IBM Data & AI solutions that enhance technology stacks.
 * Educational Support: Providing proof of concepts and simplifying complex topics to educate clients.
 * Credibility Building: Establishing credibility and trust to facilitate the closure of intricate Cloud tech deals
