* Either degree qualified within an Engineering related subject or equivelant experience within a Design Engineering role
 * Proficient with the use of Solidworks
 * Based in a commutable distance of Leek, Staffordshire
 * Able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers
 * IT literate with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.

## Description

Design Engineer required for a well-established equipment manufacturer based near Leek, Staffordshire. The succesful candidate will be joining a well-respected company and will be responsible for utilising Solidworks to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings., * Designing systems and products with the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software

 * Preparing detailed specifications and technical drawings
 * Researching suitable solutions and producing cost quotations
 * Producing electrical harness drawings using 3D design software
 * Creating Bill of Materials
 * Ensuring projects meeting legal and safety requirements
