## About the Role

 * Ausgeprägtes Know-how in der Planung und Durchführung von Datenmigrationen und Replikationsszenarien, z. B. mit DB2 HADR, Q-Replication und MariaDB Replication, auch in komplexen Systemlandschaften.
 * Tiefgehendes Verständnis von IT-Sicherheitsanforderungen im Datenbankumfeld, insbesondere im Bereich Rollen- und Berechtigungsmanagement, SELinux-Konfigurationen sowie Identity- und Access-Management.
 * Umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Automatisierung von Betriebs- und Wartungsprozessen sowie im Lifecycle-Management von Datenbanken und Systemen, idealerweise mit Tools wie Ansible, Puppet und Satellite.

## Description

* Analysiere bestehende DB2- und MariaDB-Datenbankumgebungen und optimiere die Performance durch gezieltes Tuning, Monitoring sowie systematische Fehleranalyse.
 * Konzipiere, implementiere und teste robuste Backup- und Recovery-Konzepte, um eine hohe Datenverfügbarkeit und eine schnelle Wiederherstellung im Störungs- oder Desasterfall sicherzustellen.
 * Plane, designe und betreibe hochverfügbare Datenbanklösungen, einschließlich failover-fähiger Architekturen und Cluster- bzw. Replikationsmechanismen.
 * Führe komplexe Datenmigrationen sowie Replikationsprozesse durch und stelle deren Stabilität, Konsistenz und Performance über verschiedene Systeme und Umgebungen hinweg sicher.
 * Entwickle und implementiere Automatisierungsprozesse für den Betrieb und die Wartung von Datenbanken und Systemen, z. B. für Deployments, Updates, Monitoring und wiederkehrende administrative Aufgaben.
