Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Oracle Federal Financials P2P (Procure-to-Pay) SME - **Company:** i360technologies, Inc - **Location:** Suitland-Silver Hill, MD, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $130,000.0 - $149,000.0 - **Contract:** Temporary contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Software Documentation, Oracle (Applications), Microsoft PowerPoint, Runbook, Information Technology, Oracle Ebusiness, Oracle Erp - **Published:** July 30, 2026 - **Apply:** https://diversityjobs.com/main/sendform/8/8/28176/1/17752624?backUrl=%2Fcareer%2F17752624%2FOracle-Federal-Financials-P2p-Procure-To-Pay-Sme-Maryland-Suitland ## About the Role * Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. * 6+ years of hands-on functional experience implementing or supporting Oracle R12 Federal Financials P2P, including iProcurement, Purchasing, and Payables. * 6+ years of hands-on experience configuring Procure-to-Pay processes in a federal environment. * Deep functional knowledge of requisitions, approvals, suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, invoice validation and matching, holds, payments, and disbursements. * Strong experience with Oracle Purchasing and Payables configuration, Subledger Accounting, budgetary control, funds checking, and cross-module accounting. * Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests, incidents, defects, interfaces, data issues, and transaction failures within Oracle E-Business Suite. * Experience supporting the full functional lifecycle: requirements, analysis, design, configuration, documentation, testing, deployment, and post-release validation. * Knowledge of federal AP and procurement processes and controls, including USSGL, Treasury reporting requirements, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). * Strong analytical, problem-solving, client-service, communication, presentation, documentation, and meeting-leadership skills. * Ability to work independently, make timely recommendations, and manage competing production priorities with minimal supervision. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. * S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, as permitted by client and contract requirements, and ability to complete the required federal background investigation. * Ability to work onsite in Suitland, Maryland, five days per week. Preferred Experience * Recent post-go-live experience on an embedded Oracle EBS R12.2 O&M or production-support team for a federal agency. * Experience with complex requisition and purchase-order approvals, supplier maintenance, receiving, two-way/three-way/four-way invoice matching, invoice holds, payment process requests, and disbursement controls. * Experience integrating P2P with General Ledger, SLA, budgetary control, Cash Management, supplier systems, and external interfaces. * Experience supporting federal month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, audit evidence, and corrective-action plans. * Experience with incident, problem, change, and release-management practices in a controlled production environment. * Current or recently active federal Public Trust determination., * Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust or suitability determination. * Must be able to pass a federal background investigation. * S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required; no visa sponsorship is available. ## Description The client needs a strong functional consultant who can work at speed, take ownership of O&M issues from intake through verified closure, lead discussions with business users, and deliver durable solutions-not simply temporary workarounds.
