Preferred * Experience working on political, advocacy, or field canvassing campaigns. * Experience tracking production metrics and project performance. * Understanding of field operations and canvasser workflows. * Experience building and maintaining Excel trackers, formulas, and reporting dashboards. * Knowledge of data validation and quality control processes., * Data organization * Excel proficiency * Project tracking * Analytical thinking * Problem solving * Attention to detail * Time management * Communication * Multi-project coordination * Process improvement ## Description The Data Director Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Data Director by maintaining the integrity of canvassing data, tracking project performance, and ensuring field teams have accurate information to meet production goals. This position serves as the bridge between field operations and data management, helping leadership monitor progress, identify trends, and keep projects running efficiently. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires someone who is comfortable working with multiple canvassing platforms, spreadsheets, and project trackers while communicating closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Operations Leadership. Primary Responsibilities * Assist the Data Director with daily project data management and reporting. * Track project progress toward daily, weekly, and overall door goals. * Monitor canvasser production and identify trends, inconsistencies, or reporting issues. * Maintain accurate project trackers and ensure data remains current. * Verify the accuracy of door counts and canvassing metrics across multiple projects. * Support leadership by preparing reports and performance summaries. * Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining turf assignments and walk lists within canvassing platforms. * Help troubleshoot data discrepancies and coordinate corrections with field leadership. * Ensure canvassing applications are functioning properly and assist field staff with basic troubleshooting. * Maintain organized records and documentation for ongoing projects. * Work closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and project efficiency. * Support project launches by confirming canvassing systems are properly configured before field operations begin. * Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned., A successful Data Director Assistant is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. They understand how field operations function, can quickly identify data issues before they become larger problems, and help leadership make informed decisions by ensuring project information is accurate, timely, and actionable.
