## About the Role

* Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience
 * Hands-on experience with SCOM and enterprise monitoring tools
 * Experience in hybrid cloud (on-prem + Azure) environments
 * PowerShell Scripting for automation
 * Knowledge of VMware, monitoring concepts, and ITIL processes
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable

 * SCOM Management Pack authoring/tuning
 * DevOps/CI/CD exposure
 * SIEM or security-monitoring integrations
 * Linux (RHEL) experience
 * Enterprise-scale infrastructure background

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Monitoring & Infrastructure Engineer with strong Microsoft SCOM expertise, solid Windows Server (Wintel) skills, and hands-on experience in hybrid on-premise and Azure environments.

The role focusses on supporting and enhancing enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, while also providing 3rd line infrastructure support across Windows, VMware, and Azure-based systems. The engineer will support BAU operations and project delivery within a large-scale enterprise environment., * Operate and improve monitoring platforms including SCOM, Azure Monitor, PRTG, and VMware Aria Operations

 * Develop and tune alerts, dashboards, and service views to improve proactive monitoring and reduce noise.
 * Build and maintain SCOM Management Packs and monitoring configurations
 * Automate monitoring and health checks using PowerShell
 * Provide 3rd line support for Windows Server and VMware environments
 * Support Azure hybrid services, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Arc
 * Work with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams on service onboarding, incidents, and RCA
 * Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms (eg ServiceNow)
