## About the Role

* Bachelors required along with 8 years' experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.
 * Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and enterprise application experience.
 * Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
 * Knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD), usability testing, and accessibility standards.
 * Experience working within Agile development environments.
 * Portfolio of work samples.
 * Onsite work location: Washington, DC (50% on site).
 * Active Top Secret Clearance.

Bonus points if you have:

 * Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field.
 * Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or other enterprise design systems.
 * Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
 * Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
 * Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 * Certifications in UX, accessibility, Human-Centered Design, or related disciplines.
 * Experience utilizing AI throughout the design process and AI code-generation tools to rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production-ready designs.

* Creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences that support enterprise and mission-critical applications.
 * Lead user research, design workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
 * Provide technical mentorship, drives UX process improvements, promotes design standardization, and ensures compliance with accessibility and security requirements.
