The Optimus robot program is where mechanics, electronics, controls, software, and manufacturing meet. As Optimus moves from prototype to production, the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly is as important as building new capabilities. The Diagnostics Engineering team builds the diagnostic and service tools used to troubleshoot and repair Optimus. You'll work side-by-side with service, manufacturing, firmware, and hardware partners to make the robot understandable, debuggable, and repairable at scale. This is a hands-on role. Expect time on the robot, tight iteration with technicians and engineers, and ownership of tools that directly affect uptime and production velocity.
