Preferred Experience * Prior experience supporting the DLA Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or the DLA Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). ## Description * Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. * Translates detailed design into computer software. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. * Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. * Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency. * Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Software Development & Architecture * Design and develop complex software solutions using best practices and modern technologies. * Ensure code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and adherence to development standards. * Lead architectural discussions and contribute to implementing and deploying technology strategies. Leadership & Mentorship * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior developers. * Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team. * Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Agile Team Collaboration * Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies. * Work closely with Product Owners, QA engineers, and Computer Systems Analysts to deliver value-driven features. * Drive technical discussions and decision-making within the team.
