## About the Role

* 5+ years Linux systems administration experience.
 * Experience managing GitLab in enterprise environments.
 * Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform).
 * Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and runners.
 * Experience with security hardening and compliance requirements.
 * Must be able to attain and maintain a NASA Level of Confidence (LoC) of 50, which is based on identity proofing, background checks, and investigation. This is a condition of employment.

## Description

Rothe is seeking a hands-on Linux Administrator with strong GitLab administration experience to operate, secure, and evolve enterprise platforms supporting NASA JSC's mission-enabling applications.
Key Responsibilities

 * Administer, secure, and maintain Linux-based systems.
 * Manage GitLab infrastructure including upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, runners, and integrations.
 * Implement system hardening, patch management, access controls, and compliance baselines.
 * Automate system tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or similar tools.
 * Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for platform reliability.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across NASA JSC operations.
